Job Summary

The Contract Analyst supports the Corporate and Business Development functions. The Contract Analyst manages the implementation and ongoing, daily maintenance of strategic accounts according to each Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and customers unique contract pricing, reporting, and broad contractual stipulations. The Contract Analyst manages the Contract Price Activation (CPA) process per each GPO. The Contract Analyst reviews and manages local agreements ensuring pricing integrity and consistency across all contracts. The Contract Analyst reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts & Corporate Initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities Corporate

  • Liaise with Accounting to identify and determine Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) membership status for pricing, reporting, invoicing, and payment processing
  • Liaise with Accounting to track GPO member sales in relation to tier access
  • Liaise with Accounting to track and report GPO administrative fees
  • Liaise with Customer Service to ensure New Facility Set Up Forms include accurate GPO membership and pricing

Duties and Responsibilities Business Development

  • Maintain clear organization of all active contracts (including GPOs), contract terms, pricing tiers, reporting, and other contractual requirements
  • Maintain multiple up-to-date GPO membership rosters and accurately identify new and/or changing customer membership
  • Manage daily Contract Price Activation (CPA) process via multiple GPO portals and communicate to team
  • Maintain clear and frequent communication to Sales regarding membership rosters per territory
  • Field ongoing questions from sales team regarding membership status (including membership disputes)
  • Support navigating multiple GPOs with price sensitivity and favored nations clauses
  • Adheres to standard operating procedure for contracts at Alafair, ensuring pricing integrity and consistency across all agreements
  • Manage local agreements (Alafair templates and outside paper): Review, advise upon, route for signature
  • Manage consignment agreements (Alafair templates and outside paper): Review, advise upon, route for signature

Education and Experience Required

Minimum of 5+ years contracting experience

Minimum of 3+ year managing GPO contracts

Minimum 5+ years Excel and data management experience

Effective data entry, attention to detail, and record keeping

Effective communication, organization, interpersonal skills

Education and Experience Preferred

Previous experience in a start-up company / small company

Bachelors degree, Business or Data Management preferred

Healthcare experience

Experience with NetSuite

Medical office experience
