Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the movement of products between the manufacturing facilities and off-site storage warehouses.The person will load and unload containers of product using a forklift, as designated by Materials Lead.They will proactively monitor the supply of production containers in the manufacturing plants and notify supervisor if supplies are low.Responsible to manage the location of where products are placed at the offsite warehouses.

Receives functional guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor. Role is not limited to the above listed responsibilities and may include other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time
  • Must have experience driving a forklift.
  • Must have the ability to count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.
  • Strong sense of urgency; flexibility in meeting deadlines; excellent punctuality
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English; strong attention to detail.
  • Can effectively follow oral and written instructions as delegated by management.
  • Must follow the established safety practices when working in the warehouses and the manufacturing facilities.
  • Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.
  • Maintain housekeeping at offsite warehouses.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others at different levels in the organization.
  • Conduct tasks in a team environment.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able, with or without a reasonable accommodation to perform the following:
  • Willing and able to lift and carry loads of 50 lbs.
  • Willing and able to walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain.
  • Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Willing and able to work in hot and cold climates.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 or more years of experience operating a forklift.
