Position Overview

As a Junior Recruiter you will manage a requisition load of Non Exempt/Exempt indirect labor roles. The Junior Recruiter will assist in carrying out all the duties associated with full cycle recruiting and onboarding. This will include strategy meetings, posting jobs, tracking and interviewing applicants, setting up additional interviews, coaching hiring managers through the selection and offer process, completing the post-offer pre-employment process, and maintaining recruitments files. The Junior Recruiter also provides assistance on other projects as needed.

What You'll Do

Creating and posting accurate requisitions as new positions are opened and assigned
Screening and reviewing incoming applicant resumes and advancing or properly dispositioning
Following up with candidates who have yet to schedule time to screen
Conducting preliminary phone screenings with candidates (approx. 4 6 calls per day.)
Sending reminders to candidates with upcoming interviews
Following up with candidates who have yet to complete required steps of the interview and assessment process
Presenting candidates to Hiring Managers, scheduling interviews, and being their point of contact throughout the remainder of the interview process
Maintaining a clean and organized Applicant Tracking System
Monitoring shared team trackers and providing follow up support, most trackers are Excel based
Offering support to the post-offer Onboarding process as needed
Other ad-hoc tasks as needed

Most importantly, this role offers an opportunity for a stellar candidate to build relationships with both internal and external customers and to become an expert in providing our candidates a seamless recruiting process while meeting the staffing needs of our internal teams. This role will have exposure to working with Hiring Managers and Department Heads to learn the behavioral and technical requirements of a role and using that information to present a candidate that will join the company and add immediate value.

Who You Are

High school diploma or GED
Bachelors Preferred
1 year of HR experience
1-2 years customer service experience - Preferred
Proficient computer skills
