Job Description: $23-25 per hour

We are seeking a professional and dedicated Temporary Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of HR services and participate in various HR initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with best practices in benefits and compensation, compliance, administration, onboarding, offboarding, policy interpretation and guidance, and employee relations. This temporary position is available immediately and will last until mid-August.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits and Compensation:
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
    • Conduct regular benefits orientations and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
    • Manage compensation processes, including salary reviews and adjustments.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with regulations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Administration:
    • Oversee daily HR operations and provide administrative support.
    • Manage HR-related documentation and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding:
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and paperwork completion.
    • Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding process.
    • Ensure a smooth transition for employees joining or leaving the organization.
  • Policy Interpretation and Guidance:
    • Provide interpretation and guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
    • Assist in the development and updating of employee handbooks and policy manuals.
    • Offer support and advice on HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns and issues.
    • Assist in conflict resolution and provide support in disciplinary actions.
    • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong focus on employee benefits.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
