If so, Southland Industries' Project Engineer position is for you In this role, you will work on exciting, multi-million dollar commercial MEP projects as you develop your skills in estimating, scheduling and design within the design-build construction process.

What you'll do:

  • Estimates the impact of project changes and provides information to applicable management.
  • Manages change orders. Ensure they are completed accurately and tracked as required.
  • Procures equipment and materials and services; and participates in the selection and hiring of subcontractors.
  • Stays current on emerging trends.
  • Analyzes and resolves basic questions and problems as needed.
What you'll need to be successful:
  • Four-year degree in Engineering, or applicable experience
  • Entry level position
  • Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing drawings
  • Basic verbal and written communications skills
  • Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel
