What we are looking for:

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team based out of Houston, TX. The Sr. Financial Analyst position will be an integral part of the financial reporting and analysis team. As a key part of this team, they will help to complete the month end financial close and reporting process, be heavily involved in the rolling forecast and budgeting process, and have the opportunity to work on other exciting projects. As part of the core corporate team, this role will interact with other members of the executive team as well as a diverse mix of personnel among our dealerships in Texas, California, Missouri, Arkansas, and Colorado. This position will report to the Director of Financial Reporting & Analysis.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages to help communicate financial results to executive management.
  • Assist with the reporting of financial results into corporate reporting systems (HFM).
  • Conduct variance analysis with budget and forecast to help management understand and make decisions that will impact the business.
  • Monitor trends and communicate business impact with management.
  • Create financial models and analytics that are impactful and help drive business decisions. Navigate and understand critical data from various internal systems to produce meaningful results and analysis as needed.
  • Assist in mining data from various sources in supporting dashboard design, identifying and understanding business logics behind it to lay out the foundations of dashboard design.
  • Support business units by providing needed reports, financial analysis and other tools as desired.
  • Actively engage in the company's efforts of developing the future state data warehouse and data analytics process and deliverables.
  • Actively engage in the annual budgeting process by helping to prepare budget templates, supporting budget preparation and review, and upload of completed budgets into applicable reporting systems.
  • Play active role in the annual audit process by consolidating audit results, validating audit data submission, helping to resolve audit inquiries and assisting controllers in delivering audit results timely and accurately.
  • Responsible for maintaining company's key documents in accounting, finance and other areas.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
This opportunity is for you if you have:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in related areas.
  • Solid accounting or finance background. A thorough understanding of US GAAP and financial principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required with knowledge of mastering advanced formulas, incorporating macros, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.
  • Strong sense of pride and ownership and a demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Team player willing to pitch in for the greater good.
  • Excellent time management skills. Highly organized and comfort to work multi deadlines with short turnaround time.
  • Articulate with excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
