Here's how we take care of our people: Medical, vision, dental health insurance, health savings account / flexible spending, competitive pay, paid time off, 401k retirement plan with company match, employee assistance program and more Your team is bigger than your department: Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue. Responsibilities Work under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager and the Trauma Program Director to assure accurate, timely, review of Trauma cases and implementation and monitoring of quality programs. Continuously assesses, measures and improves departmental performance and compliance status. Monitor clinical processes and outcomes and system issues related to the quality of care provided; develop quality filters, audits, and case reviews: identify trends and sentinel events: and help outline remedial actions while maintaining confidentiality. Assists the Trauma Manager and Trauma Medical Director with development, implementation, and monitoring of Quality Management activities. Assists in the analysis of TQIP data and development of corrective action plans. Initiates Primary review of trauma cases and rounds on patients to ensure complete and accurate data collection in the Trauma Registry. QualificationsJob Requirements: Current RN license in the state of Idaho Minimum of four years of recent related work experience in an acute care hospital in Emergency, Trauma or Critical Care.
