Job Summary:
To develop a robust summer STEAM program, for elementary and middle school students, specifically focusing on providing opportunities for students to explore interests normally not available to them.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois PEL registered in Lake County
- Bilingual preferred
Essential Duties: Stipend:
- Recruit and hire STEAM teachers and high school aides for summer programming.
- Collaborate with summer STEAM teachers to monitor student attendance.
- Creates summer STEAM course offerings.
- Coordinates with high school administrators for use of space and timing of STEAM courses.
- Monitors day to day operations of the summer STEAM program.
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Specialized Programs
$6,000 stipend
