**Overview**

The Product and Merchandise Planner will serve as a business manager for all product and sales channels to create viable purchasing and sales plans to deliver profitable results. The Product and Merchandise Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining sales, inventory, and margin plans that tie to financial targets.

Plan and execute on all product lifecycle components, including product sourcing, inventory analysis/purchases/strategies and assist in sales channel planning to efficiently maximize sales and profitability. **Job Responsibilities**

+ Assist omnichannel sales organization in preparation of seasonal and annual goals: financial sales, gross margin, and inventory planning, to be used in the development of inventory purchases and sales strategies.

+ Develop seasonal and real time fulfillment and inventory strategies that support retail, wholesale, and ecommerce channels to ensure efficient inventory management.

+ Present product/inventory plans to product team and sales channels for constant feedback loop.

+ Create inventory and demand analysis for development of promotional strategies and seasonal purchase orders, respectively.

+ Identify risks and opportunities to maximize profit and provide effective inventory management.

+ Collaborate with logistics, 3PL partners and sales channels to provide insight to inbound/ outbound activity.

+ Complete lookback analysis and utilize data for future strategic recommendations.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Desired Skills/Experience**

+ Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent required.

+ 5+ years prior planning experience from a specialty brand.

+ In-depth knowledge of retail math concepts, applications, and statistical analysis.

+ Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Travel may be required, including the potential for international travel.

+ Proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
