We are currently seeking an experienced dental assistant to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice. Schedule: M/W: 8:00am-6:00pm T/TH: 8:00am-4:00pm Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred Coronal polishing certification required X-Ray certification required Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems is a plus Perks and Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance Holiday pay, PTO + additional gifted hours Ongoing training and career development opportunities Organization wide and Dental Assistant specific social events $100 annual scrub allowance 401(k) retirement plan Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during the polishing process to ensure patient comfort and safety. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort Communicate effectively with patients, explaining the coronal polishing procedure and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies, and equipment as necessary If you are passionate about helping others and interested in continuing your dental career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.
