In this role, you'll work with Python applications, define containerization approaches, and integrate with complex software systems. A Day in the Life:
  • Collaborate & Develop: Work collaboratively with a software team in an Agile cadence, developing Python-based applications and containerized solutions.
  • Optimize & Automate: Implement a containerization approach for software baselines and develop automated tests to ensure high-quality, scalable software systems.
  • System Decomposition: Break down systems into applications and components, defining data flows, interface requirements, and service-level agreements.
  • Document & Share: Document system designs and team best practices, ensuring that knowledge is shared and the development process is streamlined.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development using Python, Java, C++, or similar languages (A Bachelor's Degree in an adjacent field may be substituted for 2 years of experience; a Master's Degree may be substituted for 3 years).
  • Proven experience with microservice development and containerization using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing automated tests for containerized applications and collaborating with team members to share designs and implementations.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience deploying in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with shell scripting (Bash, CShell, etc.) for system automation and management.
  • Agile knowledge and practice (SAFe or Scrum Alliance background) with experience using Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • UI experience and familiarity with data presentation and visualization techniques.
Salary Range: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually. At DeNOVO Solutions, we value experience and expertise. Compensation may exceed the listed range to align with the skills and experience of the candidate.
