Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to help execute multiple facets of Managerial Cost Accounting along with help bring our vision into a future utilizing modern Financial Analytical tools and methods. Will work with a team to help with Cost Accounting, Budgets, Forecasts, and Analytics. Will work with individuals from all Divisions. May assist in creating documents for Parent Company.

Professional/Technical Skill Requirements

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business Degree or equivalent professional experience 5+ years' experience in a Cost Accounting and/or Financial Analysis position Understanding/Experience in General Accounting a plus Excellent Time Management, Technical, and Organizational skills Strong Microsoft Office skills (Strong at Excel a must) Experience at a company using an ERP that uses Standard Cost Accounting models a must Preferably PLEX ERP, but any ERP system will do with demonstration of concept knowledge Understanding basic database logical structure concepts a plus Highly creative with the ability to prioritize and problem solve, with strong internal customer orientation Ability to help manage Budgets, Forecasts, Analytics, etc. Ability to work with all Levels and Divisions/Departments Strong mathematical aptitude Ability to be flexible to changing demands Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Speaking Japanese would be a plus, but not required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Managerial/Cost Accounting Duties: Creatively helps breakdown P&L activity down to Division, Customer, Project, and Part levels. Profitability Analysis Financial Analysis Duties: Help put together Budget/Forecast documentation for Financial and non-Financial activities. Performs Variance Analysis and Reports (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually, Ad-Hoc) General Accounting Duties: May be responsible for performing some Balance Sheet Reconciliations if the BS accounts are closely associated with Production/Cost Accounting activities.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

Work in cross-functional teams to find Root Cause Analysis for process improvements. Other projects and duties, as assigned.
