Responsibilities:

Client Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients in Garland, providing updates on case progress and addressing inquiries.
  • Gather information from clients regarding the details of their personal injury claims.
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in interactions with clients, recognizing the sensitive nature of personal injury cases.

Case Coordination:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
  • Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and action plans.
  • Organize and track case timelines, deadlines, and appointments.

Medical Records Management:

  • Obtain and review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, experts, and investigators to gather necessary information.
  • Summarize and organize medical records for attorney review.

Investigation Support:

  • Assist in the investigation of personal injury claims by gathering evidence and witness statements.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, insurance adjusters, and other relevant parties.
  • Compile and organize evidence for use in legal proceedings.

Settlement Negotiation:

  • Collaborate with attorneys to assess the value of personal injury claims.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations with insurance companies and opposing parties.
  • Communicate settlement offers and updates to clients.

Court Filings and Documentation:

  • Prepare and file legal documents related to personal injury cases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in personal injury case management or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of personal injury laws, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with clients, legal professionals, and external parties.
  • Empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients who may be experiencing physical or emotional distress.
  • Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus.
