Perform minor repairs as required. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS TRAINING/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS 1. Current California Driver's License. 2. Knowledge of common tools and their uses. 3. Knowledge of appropriate safety precautions and equipment used in custodial and grounds work. 4. Any combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates an ability to perform the duties of the position. 5. Current 1st Aide and CPR Certificates preferred but not required. PHYSICAL TRAITS 1. Good health 2. Normal vision and hearing 3. Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull objects not to exceed 50 pounds. 4. Ability to stand, stoop, reach, bend and work from a ladder. 5. Ability to work in changing weather conditions for extended periods of time. PERSONAL TRAITS 1. Is punctual and demonstrates good attendance. 2. Is dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, understanding and has a genuine interest in children. 3. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with students and adults. 8. Ability to provide necessary physical care and emotional support to students. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performs tasks related to custodial, maintenance, or grounds upkeep. 2. Loads, unloads, lefts and moves heavy materials, supplies and equipment. 3. Cleans all chalk and dry erase boards, sweeps or vacuums, dusts classrooms, offices and assigned areas as scheduled. 4. Washes, scrubs and disinfects rest rooms and cleans all fixtures and drinking fountains in assigned areas. 5.
