Commercial Service Subcontracting, Sr. Project Manager

What to Expect The Commercial Service Subcontracting Senior Project Manager plays an integral role in the progress of Tesla's energy service program in North America and Latin America. This position will be responsible for understanding contracts to align business strategy for critical BESS O&M Services, including forecasting subcontracting costs against budgets and working with internal teams to maintain the most efficient subcontractor operations. The Sr Project Manager also serves as a key communicator to Finance, Asset Managers, Field Service, and Remote Engineering. This role requires a strong Project Management background in renewable energy and preferred to be fluent in both English and Spanish. This role also requires a highly motivated individual that is a self?driver, understands how to prioritize tasks, and can manage complex projects. What You'll Do Support the strategic oversight of subcontractor service operations for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Utility sites with BESS and PV systems in North America and Latin America. Create financial forecasting to support alignment with internal team(s) and purchase orders to ensure cost control, and on?time execution of projects. Develop and manage subcontractor onboarding, performance frameworks, including pricing negotiations, contract liability negotiations, and payment structures. Collaborate with Subcontractors, Field Service, Remote Engineering, Asset Management, and Finance to ensure efficient program management. Oversee financial forecasting and reporting, providing data?driven insights on subcontractor spend, and be able to speak to costs associated with projects across multiple regions and service programs. Identify and drive process improvements that enhance subcontractor performance, streamline internal communication, and accelerate project velocity across the national energy service portfolio. Serve as a business liaison for all subcontracted scopes, representing Commercial Service subcontractors in financial reviews, performance meetings, and cross?departmental initiatives. What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction, or related field; OR 5+ years of experience in renewable energy operations or another relatable field. Preferred to be fluent in both English and Spanish. Comprehensive understanding of Utility BESS & PV systems. Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and/or Microsoft SQL, DbVisualizer, DBeaver or equivalent. Experience working in a fast?paced and tech?driven work environment. Self?motivated with a proactive approach to advancing projects. This attribute is essential to this role, and to the success of the subcontracting team. Strong organization and verbal/written communication skills for collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams.
