Job Site Supervisor - Construction

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Job Site Supervisor with a strong background in construction, particularly interior remodels, to oversee and manage various projects. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of paint, flooring, electrical, framing, drywall, ceramic tile, and various other construction aspects. A thorough understanding of local permit regulations is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of interior remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors, and clients, to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Schedule and manage the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to effectively complete projects.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the on-site construction team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a productive work environment.
  • Utilize your expertise in paint, flooring, electrical, framing, drywall, ceramic tile, and other construction areas to provide guidance and troubleshooting when challenges arise.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project status, address any issues, and ensure quality control measures are met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, schedules, and any necessary permit applications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, challenges, and potential solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and permit requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and enhanced project efficiency.
Experience and Skills
Requirements:
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on interior remodels.
  • Strong background in paint, flooring, electrical, framing, drywall, ceramic tile, and other relevant construction disciplines.
  • Proficient understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permit processes.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role on construction sites is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout projects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Relevant certifications in construction or project management are a plus.
  • Ability to travel to job sites within the East Coast
