Job Title: Global Supply Chain Director This high-level leadershipposition will be responsible for managing key operational projectsglobally to ensure that the business performance is improved, and costreduction targets are achieved by agreed time frames. The position leadscross-functional teams, ensuring team members are on schedule with theirassignments and responsibilities. This role monitors the project budget,reporting status and making recommendations or adjustments in order tofacilitate project completion in a cost-effective manner. CompetenciesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential job function satisfactorily. The requirements listedbelow are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilitiesrequired. Educationand/or Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management,Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent Project managementtraining and experience, especially related to technical projects.Master\'s degree preferred, specifically in areas of Supply Chain orBusiness Administration (MBA) APICS CSCP and CPIM certificationsrecommended. Computer Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in Microsoft Project Knowledge of ERP systems, specificallyJD Edwards Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal relationshipskills and listening skills that allow being able to work with people inall levels of the organization and external customers Good listeningskills, to determine needs of customers and team members Strongdiplomacy skills to balance needs of Company with those of customerStrong presentation skills to effectively communicate project updatesAbility to lead a team and drive change through positive influence andstrong communication, driving a positive culture within Twin Disc and asa global company representative.
