About the job:

Responsible for the pricing function as well as FP&A tasks including plant variance analysis, volume/price/mix calculations and ad hoc projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

Lead the pricing team in maintaining SAP pricing as well as quoting new business.

Lead the review of monthly plant performance. Review will consist of a monthly meeting with the plant managers and executive operational leaders.

Supervise KPI reporting (weekly & monthly)

Work directly with plant management to identify improvements.

Capture the financial impact of the improvements.

Responsible for the annual budget for sales, COGS, plant expenses, branch expenses and transportation

Identify & Develop EBITDA improvements through:

Cost Reductions

SKU Rationalization

Pricing of products

Customer pricing opportunities

Monthly P&L analysis packaging preparation for:

Sales accounts

Ingredient costs

Plant spending

Transportation spending

Serve as key support to the VP, FP&A and other corporate leaders on ad hoc projects.

Supervise, train and evaluate staff.

Additional tasks as required.

Education And/Or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

8-10+ years' experience in accounting and finance with knowledge a manufacturing environment (retail experience a plus)

2+ years directing or

managing/supervising

experience.

Experience with development of processes and controls.

MBA preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Expert level in Microsoft Excel required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

SAP experience preferred.

Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proven problem solving and analytical skills.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to manage, coach and develop others.
