As

the Cybersecurity Operations

Manager

, you will be at the forefront of protecting our maritime software solutions and corporate IT infrastructure from cyber threats. Your role will involve overseeing the

development and

implementation of our cybersecurity strategy,

building

the cybersecurity team, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems. You will work closely with various departments to align cybersecurity measures with business objectives and compliance requirements.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Information Technology.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that addresses the unique needs and challenges of the maritime software industry.
Advise

the

Information Technology

Department

in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks to the company's information assets and IT infrastructure.
Review and remediate alerts from

Next Generation Antivirus (NGAV)

and

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

solutions.
Design and Implement

Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions

to improve and automate incident detection and remediation.
Manage cybersecurity projects, including the deployment of security technologies and the enhancement of existing security measures.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Collaborate with

Information Technology and Engineering Departments

to integrate security into the software development lifecycle and network architecture.
Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, including leading investigations, coordinating with external stakeholders, and implementing remediation plans.
Stay informed of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and trends to maintain the company's security posture and resilience.
Qualification

s:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

, Information Security, or a related field.
Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
Minimum of

5

years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO

27001

, CIS-18, etc.

)
Experience with cybersecurity technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption) and cloud security best practices.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
