The Quality Control Associate is responsible for inspecting all food products in the warehouse and discerning whether or not they meet our high standards of quality.The Quality Control Associate reports to the Quality Supervisor and is an important member of the operations team. Responsible for verifying the quality and accuracy of inbound deliveries, including temperature and pressure checks.Identifies and reports any potential food safety or quality problems, immediately escalating to the Lead and/or Supervisor.Documents and maintains legible, accurate records of all food products in the warehouse including discarded and damaged products from various departments. Performs basic mathematical computations when conducting audits, inspections, and cycle counts. Reports any issues regarding low yields so they can be escalated appropriately.Effectively manages time and changing priorities to minimize downtime in the receiving and production departments.
