Senior Project Manager Commercial Construction Kansas City Our client is an established national general contractor that focuses on large-scale, diverse construction projects. They have a phenomenal reputation among clients and subcontractors throughout the market. They have a strong backlog of projects in their pipeline into 2027. Projects range from commercial, healthcare, higher education, retail, hospitality, light industrial, senior living, life sciences, tenant interiors, entertainment, and luxury residential projects. This senior project manager will work on projects throughout Kansas City. They are well known for their strong compensation packages, employee benefits and their opportunities for growth. Apply now to be considered within the next 24 hours Job Description Provide project leadership and establish, implement and support a proactive project safety culture. Manage the development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposals. Manage job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure that the project goals are met. Review monthly invoices and oversees documentation and approval needed to ensure timely funding for the project. Lead the management of cost reporting including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to achieve defined project goals. Ensure overall financial health of the project and project forecasts. Represent our client in the subcontract negotiations. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management. 10-12+ years running construction projects from inception to completion. Experience overseeing ground-up projects. Experience estimating projects. Design/Build experience preferred. Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings. Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients. What's on Offer Performance based bonus potential.
