Role Purpose:

Spearhead the planning, execution, and optimization of retail media strategies to drive traffic, boost sales, and amplify brand awareness and conversion within the retail and wholesale environment. Ensures we bridge the gap between brand promotion & consumer purchasing decisions by developing, executing, measuring & tracking the consumers retail experience with Blakes brand.

Essential Functions:

o Manage the development, execution, measuring & tracking of retail programming for all products under Blakes Orchard.

o Work with the Wholesale Team to ensure programs deliver on the needs of our largest customers

o Facilitate relationships with top wholesalers across the country to ensure buy-in and execution of retail programming

o Create marketing materials that follow the 3-step process (Attract, Engage, Sell) to disrupt consumer buying behavior

o Ensure all Trade Marketing materials follow local & federal laws

o Leverage industry trends, stay abreast of consumer trends and understand brand strengths to aid in creating the story that will best convert both B2B customers (wholesalers & chains) and B2C consumers

o Create a weekly email internally with updates on POS, marketing programs and with handy links

o Lead sales communication for all programs with updates on program elements that exist, where/how they can be utilized and create presentations and recaps on programs

o Create quarterly sales decks that educate, inspire and provide belief that all the tools exist from Blakes to excel in their jobs

o Monthly news blast to distributors updating them on all things Blakes

o Source & Manage execution of trade pieces at advantageous pricing and on-timeline for chain-specific programming; develop and maintain reasonable inventory levels for all on-trade activation pieces including branded merch for wholesalers, tap handles, printable POS & pre-made POCM

o Manage Brandfolder for each Brand & serve as primary contact for Branded POS/POCM management & delivery

Education, Knowledge & Experience:

o 2+ Years experience with Shopper Marketing cradle-to-grave program design & execution

o 2+ Years experience designing, sourcing & procuring favorable terms for POCM production & execution

o 2+ Years experience working with Consumer Produced Goods (CPG) in the Food and Beverage Industry

o Significant knowledge of the in-store shopper journey & various tactics used to attract, engage & sell

o Sales experience is a plus

o Distributor experience either working for or managing a distributor/supplier relationship is a plus

Skills and Competencies:

o A self-starter who is inspired by the work they do.

o Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

o Must possess excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

o Dependability with a strong work ethic is a must. (Must be friendly but also focused on results.)

o A flexible mindset is a must.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
