Job Details:

SUMMARY:

• Overseeing all the rendering functions; both the production and mechanical aspects.
• Producing quality products in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
• Ensuring that subordinate Team members adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Submitting daily, weekly, and monthly reports in a timely manner and any other duties as assigned.
• Record keeping, timely and accurate reporting of inventory, yield and billing information.
• Maintaining waste water treatment systems and discharge levels within permissible limits.
• Covering the maintenance department when a supervisor in that area is absent.
• In the absence of the General Supervisor, assuming all responsibilities and acting as his designee.
• Maintaining plant Safety programs and ensuring mandatory Team Member training requirements are met.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) plus years of Rendering and management experience helpful.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Preference given to internal qualified candidates currently employed at this facility followed by candidates from other Tyson facilities then external candidates.
