Minimum Qualifications: • Education • Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent in accounting or accounting related fields. • Minimum courses in IT related fields not required but preferred. • Experience • Preferred 5 years’ experience in accounting with at least 2 years of experience in nonprofit and/or multi-entity or project accounting experience is preferred. • Supervisory experience not required but preferred. • License and Credentials • Reliable transportation • Valid driver license, with clean driving record • Valid vehicle insurance

Minimum Knowledge and Skills: • Preferred 3 years’ experience in accounting including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, revenue and expense coding, and balance sheet accounts. • Extensive working knowledge of GAAP and the general ledger. • Experience with computer software (i.e., Intacct software preferred). • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. • A solid grasp of cost allocations and project accounting. • Experience with Federal grants and OMB circular knowledge. • Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team. • Must have good written and verbal skills. • Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Travel Requirements:

Travel requirements for the position includes (10 % local and 10% overnight).
