This position is primarily responsible for the recruitment of new hires to the facility, utilizing various recruitment methods with the objective to replace open positions as quickly and economically as possible. Collaborates with Managers in hiring competent and qualified applicants. Assists in the orientating of new employees to the facility. The Recruitment Specialist will also assist in responding to and being knowledgeable of other functions of the Human Resources office. Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

v Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience.

v A minimum of 3 - 5 years of prior experience in human resources, specifically recruitment.

v PHR certification or general HR certification a plus.

v Healthcare experience is desired.

v Knowledge of federal and state employment laws required.

v Strong written and verbal communication skills.

v Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

v Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

v High level of reasoning, problem solving, decision making skills.

v Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and HRIS (Meditech).

v Ability to function as member of a team.

v Ability to manage multiple priorities.
