Als Automation Software Engineer bedien je klanten in de pharma-, food-, petrochemie- of ruimtevaartsector. Met de door jou op maat ontworpen software maak je baanbrekend onderzoek mogelijk in onderzoekslaboratoria en testvoorzieningen door heel Europa. Nergens is jouw nauwkeurigheid zo van belang als hier. De validatie van het onderzoek mag niet worden beïnvloed door jouw werk maar kan ook niet worden gerealiseerd zonder jou. Je werkt met systemen zoals Invensys, Honeywell, Siemens, Beckhoff, NI CompactRIO en NI LabVIEW. En ben je al bekend met Dizanta Suite-software? Werken bij deze organisatie betekent betekenisvol werk in een hightech omgeving maar ook binnen een klein en hecht team waarin je het heel erg naar je zin zult hebben.

Werkzaamheden:

Samen met het projectteam van conceptfase tot inbedrijfstelling werken aan projecten in de industriële automatisering.

PLC, SCADA en HMI-besturingen programmeren voor verschillende machines, productielijnen en procesinstallaties in de industriële automatisering.

Software, visualisaties en algoritmen ontwikkelen voor verschillende soorten regelaars.

De voortgang van het project bewaken en de planning daarop aanpassen.

De wensen en eisen van de klant omzetten in functionele documentatie en een concreet technisch ontwerp.

Jouw ontworpen software simuleren, testen, aanpassen en verder finetunen.

Met enkele collega’s naar de klant, eventueel in het buitenland, om de besturing te implementeren en de machines, productielijnen of procesinstallaties inbedrijf te stellen.

Wat heb jij in huis? We zoeken een uitblinker. Iemand die de wetenschap een warm hart toedraagt en echt een liefhebber is van high-end techniek. Iemand die zich vastbijt in een case en met creatieve oplossingen durft te komen. Als je ervan houdt om jezelf uit te dagen zit je hier op je plek. Hier kun je juist doorgaan waar anderen het opgeven. Dieper de techniek in of je werk uitbreiden in het leiden van projecten? Het kan zelfs tegelijk. Naast ambitie beschik je ook over:

Een hbo-diploma in de richting Elektrotechniek, Industriële Automatisering, Mechatronica, Technische Informatica of vergelijkbaar.

Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als software engineer bij een machinebouwer of een systemintegrator in de industriële automatisering.

Goede kennis van PLC, HMI en/of DCS-besturingstechnieken, het liefst heb je gewerkt met Siemens.

Je werkt op een goed bereikbare locatie, tenminste als je in Noord-Holland woont. Lunchen doe je samen aan een grote tafel, ongedwongen en informeel als een familie hoogopgeleide techneuten. Door de systeemonafhankelijkheid werk je met vele verschillende systemen en ook door de bijzondere toepassingen in dienst van de wetenschap blijf je geboeid door deze speciale tak van techniek.
