Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Part - Time Weekend Day Cleaner to join our team at PJS of Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for basic building cleaning. Tasks assigned may include restroom, kitchen, break area, and/or conference room cleaning, vacuum carpeted areas and general floor cleaning, trash removal, dusting and other additional duties as assigned.
Due to the nature of our client work and the specific job requirements, this position is open only to U.S. citizens.

Reports To: Their immediate building supervisor (if applicable) or their Operations Area Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties May Include:

  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restroom(s) including but not limited to sinks, floors, mirrors, doors, counters and toilets.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking kitchen(s) including but not limited to sinks, doors, tables, counters, refrigerators, and floors.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing break room(s) and/or conference room(s) and/or lobbies including but not limited to floors, tables, and chairs.
  • General floor cleaning, including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming carpeted areas
  • Removing trash/trash bags and replacing trash bags.
  • Removing trash and recycling from the building to assigned dumpsters.
  • When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including but not limited to wet paint and wet floor warning signs.
  • Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises.
  • Respond and close work orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the outside of the building and parking garage presentable.
  • Inform direct Supervisor or Operation Area Manager of supplies required for facility maintenance.
  • Inform Operation Area Manager or Property Manager of any facility maintenance related issues.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor, manager, and/or property manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship (due to government issued background)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be willing to work assigned hours (Saturday & Sunday).
  • Follow instructions and is eager to learn.
  • Presents a neat and professional appearance.
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Has the ability to work successfully in both independent and team settings.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to lift between 10lbs-25lbs frequently throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to walk or stand for the duration of the shift.


Due to the nature of the work we support, all candidates in consideration for this role must be U.S. Citizens willing to undergo the government issued background investigation process.
