Sentrillion is seeking a talented Senior Buyer to provide purchasing support to the PMO in Sierra Vista, AZ.

The

Senior Buyer is responsible for providing purchasing services for all materials, goods and services using approved vendors. The position will work with all departments on parts, lead time and availability. The position is responsible for capital expense purchasing in accordance with corporate guidelines.

* Provide purchasing services for all materials / goods and services, using approved vendors * Maintain current approved vendor contacts database in Deltek Cost Point * Manage bill of materials (BOM) data for request for quotes (RFQs), purchase orders and cost models * Ensure proper levels of authorization for all purchase orders * Prepare and send RFQs / receive, track & compare quotes * Negotiate rates and credit terms with vendors * Prepare, send, and track all purchase orders * Reconcile invoices, packing slips and purchase orders * Coordinate invoicing with Accounts Payable for prompt payment terms and discounts * Procure various supplies, promotional items, test equipment, and other related products * Data entry into Deltek Cost Point; entering part numbers, descriptions, pricing as well as research information to insure the integrity of the parts database * Create requisitions in Deltek Cost Point when necessary * Generate usage reports on vendors and annual expenses using Cognos reporting tool * Complete monthly / quarterly purchasing activity and measurement spreadsheets * Research and maintain new vendors for continuous competitive pricing and availability * Maintain and track certain project material within inventory software * Adhere to all ISO quality management standards and participate in company audits * Increase knowledge by attending purchasing seminars and other training * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

* High School degree, or equivalent, required * 5 years of experience in government procurement * Proficient with MS Office suite * 5 years of experience in Deltek CostPoint required * Experience with Cognos reporting tool desired ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to multi-task, sound understanding of ethics, and ability to work independently * Ability to work designated schedule, as well as maintain attendance and punctuality * Must be reliable, dependable, and trustworthy, as well as able to maintain confidential information. ***Sentrillion is an EEO Employer / Protected Vet / Disabled***
