Our client, a cannabis hardware manufacturing company, is seeking an Accountantfor their office in Las Vegas, Nevada to maintain the corporate accounting records for the company.

This position will be responsible for all financial statement preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and maintaining the General Ledger, in addition to other office related administrative duties, including payroll, Human Resources, insurance and benefits administration.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform and maintain all general accounting functions using QuickBooks and Inventorysoftware
  • Ability to use various sources to support accounting responsibilities which include analysis, verifications, allocations, reconciliations and / or discrepancyresolution
  • Work with other departments to improve various processes which improve and support the organization and General Ledgeraccuracy
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets as necessary to standardize the processes and functions of thedepartment
  • Responsible for cash management, daily cash reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Manage vendor payments and cashreceipts
  • Maintain all balance sheetreconciliations
  • Prepare necessary financials for annualaudit
  • Track, build and maintain accurate inventory records and assist with monthlyaudit
  • Post invoices, code purchases, and manage companypurchasing
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment
  • Bachelors degree in Accountingor related field
  • Experience working with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similiar software
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and complete assignedtasks
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabisindustry
  • Strong accounting knowledge, including an understanding of GAAP, tax requirements, and general auditingprocedures


Compensation:$50,000 plus health, dental, 401K and professional development
