Reports To: Head Golf Professional

Position Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant and Merchandiser to join our team. This role requires someone with a passion for golf, a background in retail, and the flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with merchandise display, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the golf shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

- Provide product recommendations and information on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.

- Handle sales transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

Merchandising:

- Assist in the setup and maintenance of merchandise displays to ensure an attractive and organized shop environment.

- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.

- Ensure all merchandise is properly priced and tagged.

General Shop Duties:

- Maintain a clean and tidy shop, including arranging displays, dusting, and organizing merchandise.

- Assist with receiving and unpacking new shipments of merchandise.

- Keep informed about current and new golf products to better assist customers.

Other Responsibilities:

- Support special events and promotions as needed.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional

Qualifications:

- Previous retail experience is required.

- Knowledge of golf and golf-related products is essential.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
