In other words, figure out how to get your team's job done in the most effective way possible.Anticipate needs and implications of decisions, proactively working to identify, clarify, and resolve issues. Remove barriers in and outside the organization in a timely mannerWorking with product designers and developers at all stages to promote qualityManage, plan, develop, and execute software testing tasks for applications developed using various technologies including distributed Internet technologies (Java/.net, relational databases, XML, web services, etc.). Create and execute Test Plans, Test Cases, Status Reports, and Metrics.Flexibility to work with changing requirementsProducing test plans and ensuring they are followedAutomating tests where appropriateProducing and prioritizing bug reportsReproducing bug reports from the field and writing clear steps to reproduceRunning cross-platform & browser testingVerifying the load, scalability, and performance requirements have been metWorking with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosisLead as Scrum master the Packaging eFLow R&D cross functional scrum teamProvide "triage" and troubleshooting skills developed in QA role and apply for North American key customers when issues are discovered after normal business hours in India and the U.K. with a goal to assemble and prepare issue isolation for the Packaging R&D team(s) to pickup next day.Skills: Excellent communication skills Great teamwork and strong leadership skills and experience in working with offshore teamsStrong technical aptitude and experience with the software tools and techniquesPassionate about new technology and perform technical evaluationsrequired to document and report on defects andother software issuesStrong problem-solving abilityFunctional Windows experience (including scripting and automation) requiredExperience with web-based database applications preferredProgramming knowledge of Java, PHP an assetExperience with VMware preferredExperience with automation tools (such as Selenium/Java, Test complete, Silk test) preferredExperience with MySQL, SQL Server, ProgressExperience with Loadrunner, JMeter will be an advantageMust be motivated; a self-starter, results oriented individual with a successful track record.Should be experienced in Agile methodologies preferably certified Scrum Master.Work Experience Requirements: 11+ years of software testing and/or software development experience working Experience in managing QA teams of 6 - 10 size. Minimum 2 years of experience in managing QA teams. Knowledge of Enablement Applications (iQuote, PrintFlow and AutoCount) as well as eFLow and BOD integration methodsEducation Recommendations:Bachelor's degree is mandatory. A specialization in Computer Science or Printing technology.Behavioral Competency : Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with team in India and US) Strong analytical skills to solve and model complex business requirements are a plus.Desirable qualities: Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Probes all fruitful sources for answers. Is excellent at honest analysis. Looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers. Learning on the Fly - Learns quickly when facing new problems. A relentless and versatile learner. Drive for result - Able to set priorities; pursue tasks tenaciously & with a need to finish.
