If you or anyone you know is qualified or interested in the position listed below, please click Apply Now The Aluminum Welder is responsible for welding/joining different types of metal parts together, using cutting tools, stud guns, and plasma cutters, and reading blueprints to verify accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aluminum welding. This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. Qualifications: One year certificate from college or technical school Minimum 5 years related experience in production or factory environment using hand tools and machinery Experience reading and working blueprints Able to use a forklift Welding certificate required Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members Strong understanding of aluminum welding Understanding and ability to use equipment such as MIG and TIG welders, stud guns, cutting torches, radial arm saw, punch press, hydraulic notcher, stud welder, stick welder, metal shear, iron worker, table saw, horizontal band saw, punch press, circular saw, router, sawzall, tubing router, tubing roller, and drill press, etc. Able to pass the Wonderlic assessment #VIS
