We are looking for an Oracle Programmer/ Analyst to work amongst the IT team on the implementation/ support of Oracle e-Business Suite and surrounding applications. This person will work with the Oracle Application team in North America and Asia and will be responsible for supporting current implementations in North America and work with user team on their daily operations issues, reports, and improvement in current processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas (Should be well versed with software development life cycle) Work with user team on their daily operational issues, improvement in current processes and future enhancements. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Build Detail Design Document and program specifications Interact with Asian team for development support Perform software application testing+ Train End-User and prepare training documents Help improve IT and business processes Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Flexibility to perform other duties as required REQUIREMENTS

:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management or a closely related field. 3-4 years of experience with standard ERP Systems, knowledge Oracle E-Business Suite 12i is a plus preferred. Experience in software development and support role and have strong techno-functional skills in finance or supply chain domain. Should be open to work on different software platforms, position requires learning of new software and tools to help improve business process. Ability to write programs using Oracle PL/ SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and other Oracle tools. Other skills Unix scripting, Open-source tools preferred A successful candidate will be self-motivated, thrive on challenging and rewarding work, and have the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
