Job Description

Menu Coordinator - Somerset - Full time - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate environment in a state-of-the-art-community - Excellent benefits including generous (optional) medical, dental and vision plans, 25 paid days off, pension plan, annual holiday bonus, subsidized childcare on site, and free meal for every shift worked - must be flexible to work 6:30am 2:30pm and/or 11:00am-7:00pm (primarily) including every other weekend - The menu coordinator will enhance the individual dining experiences of residents. Partner with dining personnel and dietician to provide person-centered care to residents and assist with lunch and dinner, menu selections and other meal services as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills preferred.
  • Dining and understanding of diets and planning preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flu vaccine required, or receive an exemption prior to employment.
  • Covid-19 vaccination documentation will be requested for reporting purposes.

Parker at Somerset is a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing home, located on 10 beautifully wooded acres in Somerset, New Jersey. As an Eden Alternative® registered home , we are well-known for the compassionate, quality long-term nursing care provided to elders in a comfortable, home-like environment. We also offer comprehensive post-acute rehabilitation with round-the-clock skilled and sub-acute nursing services.
