Automation Analyst Job Location: Remote Job Summary: The Automation Analyst is an entry level position on the Product Testing team. We are looking for 1-2 years of experience in a software testing environment. This role will be responsible to implement, execute, and maintain manual and automatic test processes. The technical responsibilities of this position include the execution of black and white box test strategies, implementing those in test harnesses, and utilizing these in automated and manual testing. This role will also assist in test development during new product releases, working closely with software development teams, and recommending design changes to implement better test coverage and leverage-automated testing. Reporting Relationship:

Manager, Testing Schedule: Generally, Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro. Scope of the Role: • Maintain and run coded UI tests and unit tests using Microsoft Visual Studio and Silk Test • Develop a strong understanding of how ScriptPro products work and how they are used by our clients • Diagnose, track, and manage the resolution of quality issues through to resolution • Develop data generation mechanisms and processes for managing test cases, data, and results • Work in close coordination with software development to debug and resolve test related issues •Work in close coordination with Release Management to ensure all testing is completed on time for scheduled build releases Education and Experience Requirements: • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience •Recent experience in testing and/or developing applications based on Microsoft technologies • Experience in writing black-box, system, and UI test cases along with designing tests to mitigate risks • Experience or understanding of testing in quality-focused agile development projects • Engineering, scientific, or mathematical background preferred Attributes Desired: • Strong communication skills • Experience working on self-organizing dynamic teams • Detail oriented • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Skills: • Microsoft SQL Server or other relational DB e.g. Oracle or MySQL • Azure DevOps Services • Java Script and C# experience • Microfocus Silk Test coded UI testing experience Working Conditions: Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach.
