NEW SYSTEM SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER SUMMARY: The New System Sales Account Manager position serves as technical sales consultant to engineers, architects, contractors and owner/developers in the design, applications and sales of environmental systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. To secure business in the marketplace, as well as those of strategic partner companies, observing LMS Building Systems conditions and business conduct policies. A New System Sales Account Manager sells services and products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the New Systems Sales Account Manager provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services.

NEW SYSTEM SALES ACCOUNT MANGAER

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and sells integrated HVAC systems, including equipment. Collects, organizes, and assembles data or reports, presentations and/or special projects. Conducts price estimates and quotations for projects. Identifies customer needs by analyzing existing building plans and specifications and creating formal reports and presentations. Responds to customer needs by identifying systems, products, generation quotes, and closing orders. Develops multiple relationships with key players in the customer’s organization, such as project managers, project engineers, construction, financial and purchasing personnel. Assists customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, Strategic products, and system application alternatives, Building Automation Systems (BAS), installation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolutions. Communicates order or schedule changes to customers. Conduct customer visits and customer events to build relationships with key accounts. Call prospective customers and establish customer needs and create a customer supplier relationship. Monitors and tracks quoted projects and current orders. Manages plan and specification takeoffs, selection, pricing, and bidding. Conducts formal presentations and training sessions with customer groups. Performs work in a safe manner, following safety rules, and reporting any unsafe conditions. Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $50,000.00 minimum base salary plus bonus and commission DOE/DOP Requirements: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and 5 years of field sales experience or equivalent. Technical knowledge of mechanical systems. Advanced training in sales skills. HVAC systems and application knowledge. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
