THE JOB:

As a Food Runner at Public House, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests receive their meals promptly and accurately. You will work closely with our kitchen and serving staff to deliver food orders to tables efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Prepare and restock sauces for in restaurant and takeout food orders.
  • Ensure that food orders are accompanied with appropriate side dishes.
  • Ensure that all tables' food orders go out together in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Prior experience working as a food runner or food server in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Prior experience using trays to deliver food orders to tables.
  • Prior experience working in a similar resort setting.
  • Currently has a TAM and Food Handlers card or the ability to obtain each card.
  • Able to lift, carry, push at least 25 pounds (lbs).
  • Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.
  • Can handle multiple tasks at one time.

THE STARTING PAY:
  • $13.95 per hour + tips
