**Description**

Responsibilities:

* Direct and manage all activity related to the Banquet department, ensuring all service standards are followed,

* Ensure all functions maintain a first class and positive visual impact; including ambiance, dcor and service execution,

* Coach and train the Banquet team in all aspects of the department,

* Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments,

Must have:

* Previous senior leadership experience in Banquets and required,

* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment,

* Have an excellent understanding of all aspects of Banqueting and Events Operations and excellent F&B knowledge,

* Be creative and adaptable,

* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills,

* Ability to build relationships with the Catering and Culinary teams,

* The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with guests,

* The ability to drive creative and new product offering in banquet.
