Your Primary Duties And Responsibilities Will Be

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with safety officers to organize training programs on safety protocols. Manage production schedules, considering equipment capacity and resource availability. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and resources. Lead and supervise a team of production staff, including machine operators, technicians, and support personnel. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance team skills and productivity. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the production team. Enforce quality control procedures to meet product specifications. Monitor production output to identify and address any deviations from quality standards. Collaborate with the quality control department to resolve and prevent quality issues. Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and streamline operations. Identify and implement new methodologies to improve extrusion & blending processes. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of extrusion equipment. Work with the Wood Plant Manager and finance department to develop and manage the production budget. Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Provide regular reports on production metrics, including output, efficiency, and quality. Communicate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.

We Believe The Successful Candidate Will Have

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in extrusion manufacturing. Strong knowledge of extrusion processes and equipment. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with quality control procedures and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to analyze data, make decisions, and solve problems effectively. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to creating a safe workplace.

Understanding of extrusion & blending processes, machinery, and equipment. Knowledge of materials used in the extrusion process and their properties. Ability to develop and execute production plans to meet demand. Experience in coordinating with other departments for seamless production workflows. Strong commitment to maintaining and improving product quality. Skill in identifying and addressing deviations from quality standards. Effective leadership and motivational skills to manage a diverse production team. Ability to provide clear guidance, training, and feedback to enhance team performance. Ability to make informed decisions quickly to minimize downtime and disruptions. Proactive problem-solving approach to optimize production processes. Experience implementing and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Clear and effective communication with team members and other departments. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation. Ability to convey technical information in a comprehensible manner. Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring a safe work environment. Experience conducting safety audits and implementing corrective actions.
