QA Manager

Description:Our client is seeking a 2nd Shift QA Manager, this is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs for the entire plant. This role requires daily supervision and guidance of QA personnel, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that the company's standards are met and continuously improved.Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Quality Assurance programs for the plant, managing the shift effectively.

Conduct inspections and audits across all quality performance phases (raw materials, production, packaging, distribution, HACCP, GMPs, etc.).

Enforce QA policies, procedures, and directives to meet company, customer, and government expectations, providing necessary feedback and ensuring corrective actions.

Lead the plant's SQF certification program and perform customer and annual SQF audits.

Develop and uphold the HACCP plan, training plant personnel on quality programs.

Communicate with USDA regarding inspections and maintain various quality programs (Pest Control, Self-Inspection, Supplier Management, Safety, Microbio Testing, and Defense).Requirement/ Skills:

Bachelor's Degree

5+ of quality control experience in food manufacturing.

Proficiency in HACCP, SSOP, and SOP

Knowledge of USDA and FDA standards

SQF Certification highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of equipment, analytical tools, and food-processing equipment
