EDI Specialist

Description UNDERSTANDING The EDI Specialist is responsible for supporting EDI at ACG, Inc. Support the companies documentation requirements for computer software validations. Own It Hustle and Refuse to Settle Love People Act for the Greater Good Find a way WORKING RELATIONSHIP IT team Customer Service Finance RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and design required specifications for new customer and vendor setups, enhancements and modifications within EDI application environments. Serve as the primary link between the business and our data-trading partners, help define EDI transactions and business flows as well as creating mappings and scripts within our integration partner and ERP solution. Define, implement and train the business and IT teams on the EDI onboarding and offboarding process Backlog queue reduction, through assessment and delivery of EDI enhancement requests, including new EDI transactions and modifications to existing set-ups. Troubleshoot root cause of EDI process failures, within ACG environment. Document, test and train EDI teams within ACG, Inc Full project lifecycle utilizing Smartsheets Document IQ, DQ,OQ & PQ Act as the SME for all Computer System Validations Comply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Standards. REQUIREMENTS Minimum of five years of prior EDI Specialist experience or Document Specialist experience Experience working with EDI integrators required Strong skills needed in verbal and written communication, including communicating effectively with business users and software developers Excellent organizational and planning skills Ability to lead and facilitate diverse groups of people to move towards solutions Familiarity or experience with Agile/Scrum Framework is a plus. Familiarity with business rules management system is a plus. Food manufacturing experience is a plus. EDUCATION Associate degree in related field preferred High School Degree
