Job Title: Contract Engineer Embedded Mid

Location: Burlingame, CA

What's the Job?

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate device requirements into innovative embedded software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and rigorously test embedded software for cutting-edge consumer electronic devices.
  • Lead the migration of devices from Android 11 to Android 14, ensuring a smooth transition (experience mandatory).
  • Seamlessly integrate the Gabeldorsche Bluetooth Stack with the BSP layer (must-have experience).
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Linux BSPs and wireless stacks, with a focus on BLE stack integration.
  • Develop and maintain robust wireless drivers for Wi-Fi, BLE, NFC, and GPS on Linux-based products.
  • Possess strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Bonus points for experience working with Zephyr or other RTOS environments.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5-10 years of experience in the embedded systems domain
  • Proven track record of successfully migrating Android devices from Android 11 to Android 14 (mandatory)
  • In-depth knowledge of the Gabeldorsche Bluetooth Stack (mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of Linux BSPs and wireless stack integration
  • Experience developing and maintaining wireless drivers (Wi-Fi, BLE, NFC, GPS) on Linux-based systems
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi and/or BLE driver stacks on Linux (highly preferred)
