About the Job
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in estimating Big Box/Retail and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Gather first-hand information from Clients via Prebid meetings.
- Call required subcontractors to obtain information and bids.
- Develop sub-base for adequate bid coverage.
- Obtain quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
- Qualify bids.
- Create projects in our estimating software.
- Create budgets.
- Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, etc.).
- Setup project sites with required equipment, containers, etc.
- Organizational skills required.
- Current in market pricing.
- Outstanding communication.
- Thoroughness and reliability.
- Ability to work within a team environment as well as self-motivated.
- Ability to work with deadlines.
- Commercial Construction experience is a must.
