We have consistently achieved high marks from the VA in our CBOC's, and we are excited to discover first-rate colleagues to join our group.RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Phlebotomist (CPT), you will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming, and confidential environment for our Veterans who have served our country valiantly. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our nation's Veterans.Office hours are Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm. No On-Call No evening or weekend work No holidaysThis is a Full - Time position.Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in patient's electronic medical recordObtain medical histories from patients; verify patient informationPrepare, assist, and accurately complete all formsSupport patient care deliveryAssist providers during examinations and treatmentTake vital signs and perform all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level, certifications, and state regulationsPerform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, etc.) and as certifiedCollects lab Specimens from patients and submits received results to medical providers.Schedule clinic appointments, patient check-in and/or out of the clinic, and verify all clinical reminders due at the time of each visit.JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED Graduate of an accredited certificate programCurrent national Phlebotomist certification; issuing agency, NHA or ASCPKnowledge of computer systems including the MS Office SuiteDemonstrate high-quality customer service Two years of continuous experience in clinical operations or medical office work post externshipBasic Life Support certification from American Heart AssociationBENEFITS SUMMARY: 401(k)Medical/Vision/Prescription/Dental PlansLife InsuranceShort/Long Term DisabilityPaid Time Off/Federal HolidaysColleague Referral Bonus ProgramThis job requires access to confidential and sensitive information requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.
