Job Summary:
User Acceptance Testing Coordinators serve as a liaison between the users/stakeholders and IT implementation teams on projects across Group Companies in adherence to the User Acceptance Framework. The User Acceptance Framework defines an enhanced relationship between IT and the user community through engagement early and often, additional transparency from IT and users, and high levels of collaboration throughout the SDLC.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinates varying User Acceptance preparations and activities for dedicated Early Business Testing (EBT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) periods including, but not limited to, data needs, access needs, environment needs, and business scenario documentation
- Creates User Acceptance test plans in collaboration with the business managers/stakeholders, business users, business analysts, IT teams, and project managers
- Monitors User Acceptance Testing execution efforts, works with users to record and mitigate any issues/delays
- Provides critical feedback and action-oriented recommendations that provide value for User Acceptance processes across the enterprise
- Collaborates with end users from various levels and departments on User Acceptance planning efforts, such as test case creation, trainings, and readiness reviews for projects and major planned releases
- Participates in functional demonstrations of system changes alongside development team and business analysts (system and project)
- Ensures that all entrance and exit criteria to begin User Acceptance Testing have been met and tracked via the User Acceptance Checklist
- Provides weekly User Acceptance statuses on test execution and bugs to all stakeholders
- Obtains formal/written User Acceptance (approval) from stakeholders
- Runs daily triage meetings during UAT phase, assists in reporting / tracking bugs discovered
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (preferably in MIS, IT, or Business) or comparable experience
- 7+ years' experience preferred
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Extensive understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Hands on working experience with Azure DevOps or comparable tools preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL processes
- Knowledge of activities, tasks, practices, and deliverables associated with eliciting and clearly defining and documenting required business functionality as well as non-functional requirements
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation (responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate)
- Strong interpersonal relationship building skills: able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Strong analytical ability with the capability to determine the root cause of problems and issues and provide solutions
- Strategic thinking; Applies organizational acumen to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple, competing, frequently changing time-sensitive deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Salary range $89,000 to $110,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base
