LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse responsibilities will include:Lakeview Personal CareMonitors and provides for the medical needs of the resident through emergency response, physician contact, accurate and complete clinical assessments, requests for physician services, pharmacist consultations, and other measures as indicated.Performs treatments as prescribed. Directs Med Tech's assignments when delegating.Supervises and assists Med Techs and Resident Assistants.Assists residents in maintaining health through education (nutrition, hygiene, exercise, medications) and advocacy for residents with other health care providers.Meadows Health Care CenterPerforms nursing skills and documents within the framework of licensure and as outlined on individual care plans; documents care delivery, observations, medications/treatments promptly and accurately.Supervises and assists nursing assistants to follow their respective job descriptions. Confers with the Nurse Manager/Supervisor as indicated.Responds rapidly and appropriately to emergencies involving residents and staff. This includes independent living resident calls, evacuations, falls, fire alarms and drills, or any other emergency situation.RequirementsLPN -Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:PA LPN License is required however new Grads are welcome to apply.Prior long-term care experience is helpful but not required.
