Exemption forms are available.- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.- Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture, and parenteral chemotherapy admixture preferred.- Ability to work independently without direct supervision within established policies.- Capable of supervising the work of support personnel.- Own transportation required.- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends. Job Description: - Responsible for timely and accurate verification of all medication orders.- Safely prepares medications and pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients and eligible employees.- Researches, educates, and communicates drug information to healthcare providers and patients/families.- Knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing processes/reports and adherence to departmental and hospital policies/procedures.- Willingness to work during holiday periods such as Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekends following.- Available every other weekend, with holidays required as needed.Please ensure COVID vaccination card or intention to fill out exemption form is included with profile submission. Only candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility will be considered. Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
