Role:

To increase the Credit Union's portfolio of loans and other financial services initiated through relationships with auto dealers and other retail businesses capable of extending the Credit Union services to members and potential members. Days, hours, and location to work may vary with this position to be available for the dealerships and the in office functions as needed. Including Saturday's, nights, and select holidays.

The use of remote equipment such as company provided laptop and phone will be provided for non-typical Credit Union business hours or for when working remotely. Employee must be able to remain focused and attentive in remote work environment with limited distractions.
•Review incoming loan inquiries submitted through dealerships on the Connections Credit Union Indirect Platform and prepare outgoing correspondence and documents in support of Indirect Lending activities. Have a good understanding of the credit union Indirect Lending Policy and underwriting guidelines.
•Provides creative ways to negotiate the completion of the loan in a way that facilitates a smooth transition between dealer, credit union and member. Will support member through the loan process and answer incoming calls as necessary and place welcome calls for new members.
•At direction of Indirect Main Funder; Process Funding Packets: Inputs and updates loan data into the computer system with emphasis on indirect lending loans. Ensures all processed loan documents are complete and accurate according to policies and requirements set out in regulation; makes certain each file is documented in accordance with written procedure. Providing decline letters and disclosure/welcome packets for new members.
•Process Chargebacks. FDI Inputs for new liens on funded deals. Complete all required monthly and annual trainings as required by due date
•Performs other job related duties as assigned.
•Ensure all activities in the department are carried out in compliance with all Federal, State and credit union regulations within prescribed time frames, with zero unresolved errors and no errors that result in losses to the credit union. Persistence in following standard lending practices, accurately recording file information, and maintaining a professional and positive attitude towards members, colleagues, and the job of sales support and consumer loan processing.
•Develop and maintain a reputation as a premier partner within the dealer network by: communicating dealerships on a regular basis; ensure loans are timely underwritten within application receipt; notify dealer of loan approval decision in a timely manner.
•Meet planned growth objectives for the dealer /retail network (with respect to the number of dealers and volume of business they represent within the market).
•Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
•Education: A high school education or GED.
•Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
•: Possess good listening and people skills. Ability to analyze a member's financial situation. Ten-key/Calculator and keyboard proficient
•Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

: Full-time/Hourly/Non-Exempt (occasional nights and weekends)

16.00-23.00 p/h-DOE
