Wealth Strategist JOB SUMMARY:

In coordination with private wealth leadership, the Wealth Strategist is responsible for handling the daily tasks required to ensure quality client service and care for all relationships. This role prepares financial plans, client meeting reports, and proposals, as well as reviews portfolios, places trades and conducts other daily client service tasks. The position will also be required to handle customer calls when leadership is unavailable and is expected to attend client meetings when appropriate.

Wealth Strategist ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

* Oversees and conducts daily reviews of the administration of client accounts, including account opening, service issues, obtaining required information to keep accounts in good order, making distributions, placing trades for clients, and answering service questions by phone or email.

* Attends client meetings and develops respective financial plans for clients with the use of financial planning software.

* Maintains and updates financial plans with changing client information and goals.

* Assists in the preparation for review meetings by determining the appropriate asset allocation to meet investment objectives, while taking into consideration tax implications and the financial plan.

* Develops and produces client meeting reports, reviews investment holdings, and reviews and gathers information on investment products/managers.

* Completes required post-meeting information such as notes and internal reports for documentation and compliance purposes.

* Manages client communication and marketing efforts by preparing communication pieces for distribution efforts, managing social media content, and assisting in the preparation of presentations for internal and external marketing efforts.

* Conducts the preparation and submission of ongoing compliance requirements such as monthly communication logs, advertising submissions, gift logs, check receipts logs, etc.

* Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.

* Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

Requirements

Wealth Strategist REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
* Thorough knowledge of financial planning LPL software, including client reporting and presentations.
* Thorough knowledge of financial markets, economic events, trends, risks and general market information.
* Proficient in preparing financial plans and client reports.
* Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
* Ability to review reports, identify inaccuracies and correct them.

Equivalent Education/Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field.
* 2-4 years' experience in financial services.

* Series 7, 63, 66 and insurance license. Certifications preferred.

Wealth Strategist SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS:

Travel up to 10% may be required.
