Key Responsibilities Re-design and modernize obsolete electronics to meet todays safety and performance standards. Perform functional analysis, troubleshooting, and testing to solve complex technical problems. Create high-quality documentation from design specs and test procedures to repair reports, often without original references. Collaborate with drafting teams to produce schematics, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings. Design and build test benches, conduct performance validation, and perform failure analysis. Lead projects from concept through delivery, communicating directly with customers and suppliers to ensure quality and results. Continuously learn and develop new skills, with opportunities to advance into roles where your strengths and interests make the greatest impact. Qualifications Accredited bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (required). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams. Excellent written documentation skills attention to detail is a must. Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies). Experience with PCB design tools and CAD software preferred. Nuclear or other safety-critical industry experience is a plus (especially for mid/senior levels).
